Tim McAloone has been a member of staff at DTU since 1998. He is Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark.
Tim works closely with Danish industry, finding new methods and models for a wide range of product development issues, such as environmental issues, mechatronics, product/service-systems, product innovation and the process of product development itself.
Tim received his PhD from Cranfield University in 1998, where he studied the integration of eco-design strategies into industry. Before this he obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manchester Metropolitan University in 1993.
